On July 3, 2008, Montana-Dakota Utilities Co. (Montana-Dakota)
filed before the Public Service Commission (PSC) an
Application for Approval of revisions to its Power
Purchase Time Differentiated Rate 93 Tariff (Tariff)
to reflect updated avoided capacity and energy costs
and metering costs (Application). In its Application,
Montana-Dakota requests that (1) the metering charge
for single phase service be increased from $5.65 per
month to $5.70 per month, (2) the metering charge
for three phase service be decreased from $13.05 per
month to $12.90 per month, (3) the Time Differentiated
On-Peak Energy Rate be decreased from 5.0854¢
per Kwh to 4.654¢ per Kwh, (4) the Time Differentiated
Off-Peak Energy Rate be increased from 3.4093¢
per Kwh to 3.706¢ per Kwh, and (5) that the nominally
levelized rates for capacity be increased by percentages
ranging from 16.97% to 17.71% depending on term of
the contract. Montana-Dakota also proposes to change
various terms and conditions in the Tariff.

Any interested person who does not prefer to formally
participate in the matter as an intervenor, may submit

The PSC will consider all public comments regarding

The PSC s jurisdiction over this matter is provided
at Title 69, MCA. The substantive and procedural law
applicable is Title 69, MCA, especially at Ch. 3 (public
utilities), ARM Title 38, Ch. 5 (utilities), Title
2, Ch. 4, MCA (MAPA), ARM Title 38, Ch. 2 (PSC procedural
rules), and any prior orders of the PSC which may
bear on the issues presented.
The PSC initially notices proceedings through use
of general service lists. Interested persons not intervening,
but wishing to remain on the service list to receive
notices and orders, must notify the PSC in writing
by the date fixed for intervention. Failure to submit
notification will result in removal from the service
list in this docket.

CALL FOR SEALED BIDS
NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed bids, entitled TYPE 1 AMBULANCE REMOUNT, CITY
OF GLENDIVE, Glendive, Montana, will be received addressed
to the Administrative Clerk, 300 South Merrill Avenue,
Glendive, Montana 59330 until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday,
August 5, 2008. More specific information may be obtained
from the Glendive Ambulance Service, 300 South Merrill
Avenue, Glendive, Montana.
Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified
Check, Cashiers Check, or Bid Bond payable to
the City of Glendive, Montana in an amount not less
than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the
bid. The bid bond will be retained by the City until
the successful bidder enters into a contract with
the City of Glendive. If no contract is entered into
by the successful bidder within thirty (30) days the
bond will be forfeited to the City of Glendive. Bid
bonds will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders
immediately after the final action on the bid by the
City Council.
No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled deadline
time for submitting bids, which is 5:00 p.m. Tuesday,
August 5, 2008.
The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals
received, to waive irregularities, to postpone the
award of the contract for a period not to exceed thirty
(30) days, and to accept that proposal which is in
the best interest of the City of Glendive, Montana.

The City Council of the City of Glendive is requesting
proposals for architectural/engineering services to
assist the City in designing and supervising construction
of an Ambulance building. Copies of the detailed request
for proposals (RFP), including a description of services
to be provided by respondents, minimum content of
responses, and the factors used to evaluate the responses,
can be obtained by contacting the Finance Offices
