DCHS Drama’s spring play

Repeats every day 2 times .
Thursday, April 3, 2014 - 7:00pm
Friday, April 4, 2014 - 7:00pm

DCHS Drama will be performing their spring play on April 3 and 4 at 7 p.m. in the DCHS auditorium. This spring’s selection is actually two family-friendly plays in one.

“The Great American Talent Show” by Joseph Robinette is a mockery of modern reality TV talent shows.  Not only does it include some hilarious talents and awkward contestants, but there is a ‘celebrity’ judge panel complete with that brutally honest judge you will love to hate.

The second play, “Don’t Touch That Dial” by Christina Hamlett, is a series of commercial sketches for products that don’t exist, but could. Examples are a family-sized blanket with sleeves and a hot spot device that brings the family together at dinner time.

Parents of elementary through middle school students, keep your eyes open for tickets good for free student admissions soon to be sent home. These plays are being presented with permission from Meriwether Publishing, Ltd, Contemporary Drama Service, Colorado Springs, Colo.
