The Yellowstone River goes out with obvious oil pools

The Yellowstone River in Glendive went out the evening of Thursday, March 12. Bridger Pipeline officials have long said they were waiting for the river to go out to determine what additional oil recovery would be possible after January's pipeline spill. Local observers reported seeing and smelling oil as the river went out. Look for details in the March 15 issue of the Ranger-Review.
