HUMAN RESOURCE Assistant. The Human Resources Assistant implements the full spectrum of human resources employment policies and procedures including hiring, calulation of salary and benefits, benefit education and liability reporting. The Human Resources Assistant interacts with supervisors, employees, retirees and applicants. The position requires independent judgment, initiative to propose solutions and a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality and organizational skills. CONTROLLER. THE Controller works closely with the Executive Director of Business and Finance for cash management, maintaining payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable procedures and processes, general ledger administration and maintenance, generating financial statements for the college and assisting in the annual audit. This position will work with Executive Director of Business and Finance to oversee the Human Resources Department and be the College liaison for the labor relations’ processes and procedures. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, three to five years relevant work experience, knowledge of accounting practices in the public sector, budget analysis, internal auditing of transactions, general human resource experience and general supervisory practices.
