Gianforte stands out over Quist

Dear editor,

The special election is upon us and we have two candidates to choose from.  Let’s set aside our political differences and consider the candidates on their merits.  On the one-hand we have a self-proclaimed country-western singer, and cowboy poet, and I am sure a good man.  The first time I heard of Rob Quist was when he threw his hat into the ring for the Representative spot to represent me and ALL Montanans. His organizational attributes appear to be very minor, he seems to have meager job creation experiences, and a very limited understanding of macro-economics.

On the other hand, as I understand it, the other candidate is an individual who, through desire, persistence and hard work as an entrepreneur, has started a company that employs approximately 500 Montanan’s in highly skilled, high paying positions. Also from my understanding, he works with the educational system to assist in outlining a curriculum to teach those much-needed, high paying skills.

A little history here, there are 50 states in this Union and they elect 435 voting individuals to the House of Representatives.  Montana is the fourth largest state in this union but only sends one Representative to Washington DC to represent the whole state, so this a very important and responsible position.

In review, it seems clear to me that one of the candidates stands out with a successful job creating career and who also shows an interest in improving the educational system for all Montanans.  Join me in voting for a successful business man that has job creating experience and adequate credentials to represent all Montanans, vote for Greg Gianforte.

Respectfully Submitted,

Ken Brose
