Kudos to DCHS for new door security system
As a graduate of DCHS and an education professional who has been in 90% of Montana’s public school buildings in the last 23 years, I think that the district has done well in installing a system that keeps the school secure and still allows for public access. Many schools have locked-door practices that require a visitor to wander around and find the one or two entrances that are open, but still do not allow for staff to control who enters the building. Glendive Public Schools have now become a leader in school safety.
