Three members of the DCHS Red Devils Golf Team participated in the State A Golf tournament held in Hamilton on Oct. 3-4. All three earned medals.
Glendive’s Breilyn Riggin finished in seventh with 196 and Amanda Mittlestadt finished in eleventh with 201.
Glendive’s Dennis Berg finished twelfth with a 164.
“Glendive was the only school to bring three individual golfers to state and to have all three place as all state medalists,” shared Coach Christi Myers.
According to Myers, state award medals go to the top 15 boys and girls.
Berg had a competitive field of 66 to complete against. Riggin and Mittlestadt had 59 golfers to compete against.
“We had great weather and an amazing, but challenging course, to golf on,” stated Myers.
“I look forward to next year’s golf season and seeing what these golfers will accomplish,” she added.
